Practical performance notes

Particle-heavy nightmare boards and dense fights can stress midrange GPUs. If frames dip, lower intensive effects and close background browsers before climb raids (Beat Nightmare Levels). Controller users should still verify UI comfort in the Controls guide.

Performance troubleshooting order

1. Confirm you meet RAM and GPU baselines
2. Install on SSD
3. Update drivers
4. Lower intensive effects during dense Dreadweaver packs
5. Close heavy background apps before Level 3+ climbs

If the game stutters only when the bag UI is open, treat it as workflow friction—do inventory at the Hideout (Hideout). If fights stutter when everything explodes, reduce fireworks and keep using hazards anyway; lower FPS is still better than a wipe from refusing interactables.
